I have had this pack for a year. It is a sturdy pack. I did by the military molle 2 waist belt. It's not made for this pack but it does strap on nicely. Relieved the stress from my shoulders. I have used it as a regular daypack, a big out bag that will work as a three day alert pack. I also added some round side packs to hold a coffee press on one side and a stainless cup system in the other. Again molle system and they strapped on as needed. Over all the Soopers have held up fine. I have used it to carry photography equipment. It's been on my motorcycle. Tossed into my truck camper. Used and abused. I work my equipment to the breaking point, but this little pack is one bad boy! It has tons of room. In the front pocket, I have fire starters, wood process tools, utilities tool, lighters , etc. Main pocket has food, cloths, beverages a poncho, cordage and other misc survival items. Inpaod 65.00 for the pack, 18 bucks for the waist belt, in my opinion this is a must. I splurged on the round side packs at 20 apiece, but they also have small pockets with sturdy zippers. In the pockets I have a folding stove on one side and gloves on the other one. I also have a small medic bag that I aquired somewhere and filled myself. In summary I would buy this item again and the additional pouches and the molle construction make this pack super versital and it's also comfortable. Even without the waist band. But for 20 bucks used here on Amazon I would highly recommend adding the strap. The sky is the limit as far as attachments. Great Bag. But it with no worries. O would buy another but don't think even I can wear.thisnout in a lifetime. But with confidence. Big paid or endorsed. I just like the bag!
