The sight provides you with an extremely low profile front sight which will tuck completely out of the way when folded resting at a slim .50" when folded down in the stowed position. This particular front sight has a wide range of elevation adjustment which will accommodate a large spectrum of height over bores, conditions and calibers. A large textured adjustment knob makes elevation changes simple and easy especially if you are operating with a gloved hand.
