TLO Outdoors ships most orders within 24 hours with nationwide, approved carriers, including USPS, UPS, and FedEx.   Carrier selection is not guaranteed.  Most orders received by 2:00 PM EST will ship the same day.   

Standard/Free Shipping Orders typically arrive in 3-7 business days.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT EXPRESS AND EXPEDITED SHIPPING:

1 - please note that we do our best to ship orders received by 2:00 PM EST on the same day.  Some items are shipped from 3rd party warehouses who may have an additional 24 hours lead time, so same day shipping by 2PM is not guaranteed.   

2 - 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air services are delivered M-F.   Saturday delivery is only available when choosing a premium Saturday delivery service at checkout.

3 - Next Day or 2Day Shipping reflects the SHIPPING time in BUSINESS DAYS and does not account for the time to prepare, pack, ship the order.    So, for example, if you place a Next Day Air order at 4:00PM EST, that does not necessarily mean it wil be delivered the next day.  It means that when this order ships, it will ship with 1-day delivery.    

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS AND NON-VERIFIED ADDRESSES:

1 - if your address is not verified by the shipping carrier, is missing data, or formatted incorrectly, we may call, email, or text you for clarification on your address, which will delay your order.   Please use properly formatted addresses.  For rural addresses, please use the address as formatted on documents such as bank statements, utility bills, etc.

2 - it may come as a surprise to some of you (haha!), but TLO doesn't actually drive up and deliver your package.   A 3rd party shipping carrier, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS does this.   So when you add comments at checkout like "leave in back yard by the firepit" or "leave at screen door" or "2nd driveway past the cow pasture" ... we don't have a way to communicate those amazing details to your local delivery driver.  Yes, you'd be shocked how many orders give us very detailed delivery instructions!    If you have delivery-specific instructions, please leave a note for your carrier at the location where they typically deliver, or contact your local carrier and ask to relay those details to the local driver.

PRODUCT DAMAGE OR MISSING ITEMS:

If a product is damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.  Please take pictures of the shipping package for damage and send to us so we can file a carrier claim.

If you receive an order with missing items, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.

 

Firearms, Ammunition & Components Shipping & Compliance Policy

TLO Outdoors (“TLO Outdoors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) sells firearms-related products only in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Due to the complexity of firearms regulations and the frequency with which they change, certain products may be restricted or prohibited from shipment based on the destination address and the characteristics of the product.

TLO Outdoors reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.

1. General Compliance Statement

All orders for firearms-related products are subject to compliance review. TLO Outdoors does not guarantee that any product offered for sale may be lawfully shipped to all jurisdictions.

It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the purchase, possession, and use of any product is lawful in their state and locality.

2. Ammunition Sales & Shipping

2.1 General Rule

Ammunition will be shipped only where permitted by law and only in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Depending on the destination, ammunition orders may require:

• shipment to a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) or state-approved ammunition vendor;

• submission and verification of purchaser credentials; or

• cancellation where shipment is prohibited or compliance cannot be reasonably verified.

2.2 Restricted Jurisdictions

Due to statutory or regulatory requirements, TLO Outdoors does not ship ammunition directly to consumers in certain jurisdictions, including but not limited to:

• California (CA)

• New York (NY)

• District of Columbia (DC)

Orders shipping to these locations must be directed to a properly licensed dealer where permitted by law. Orders submitted without a qualifying dealer address will be cancelled.

2.3 Jurisdictions Requiring Purchaser Credentials

Certain jurisdictions require the purchaser to possess specific licenses, permits, or identification to lawfully acquire ammunition. TLO Outdoors may require submission of documentation prior to shipment, including but not limited to:

• Connecticut (CT)

• Illinois (IL)

• Massachusetts (MA)

• New Jersey (NJ)

• Hawaii (HI)

Failure to provide required documentation in a timely manner may result in cancellation or refund of the order.

3. Magazine Sales & Capacity Restrictions

Many states and local jurisdictions restrict the sale, possession, or transfer of magazines exceeding specified capacity limits.

TLO Outdoors does not ship magazines that exceed applicable state or local capacity limits, including but not limited to jurisdictions enforcing 10-round or 15-round limits.

Orders containing prohibited magazines will be cancelled or refunded at TLO Outdoors’ discretion.

4. Firearm Components & Accessories

TLO Outdoors sells non-serialized firearm components and accessories, which may include but are not limited to:

• stocks,

• grips,

• handguards,

• chokes,

• conversion kits,

• upper receivers,

• magazines (subject to capacity restrictions),

• optics and mounting accessories.

4.1 Serialized or Regulated Items

Any item legally defined as a firearm or controlled component under federal or state law must be shipped to a properly licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), where permitted.

TLO Outdoors does not ship complete firearms or serialized receivers directly to consumers.

4.2 State-Specific Component Restrictions

Certain jurisdictions restrict or prohibit specific firearm components, features, or conversion devices.

TLO Outdoors reserves the right to refuse or cancel shipment of any component where legality is unclear, disputed, or subject to interpretation, even if the product appears lawful under federal law.

5. Local & Municipal Regulations

Some cities, counties, and municipalities impose restrictions that exceed state-level requirements.

TLO Outdoors does not guarantee compliance with local ordinances and assumes no responsibility for identifying or interpreting municipal restrictions. Orders shipping to jurisdictions with additional local prohibitions may be cancelled.

6. Distributor Fulfillment & Carrier Policies

Many firearms-related products sold by TLO Outdoors are fulfilled by third-party distributors.

Distributor and carrier policies may be more restrictive than applicable law. If a distributor or carrier refuses to ship an item for any reason, the order will be cancelled or refunded.

7. Order Review, Cancellations & Refunds

• All firearms-related orders are subject to manual or automated compliance review.

• TLO Outdoors reserves the right to cancel any order that cannot be lawfully or practically fulfilled.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

• Shipping and handling fees may be non-refundable once an order has entered the fulfillment process.

8. Purchaser Acknowledgment

By placing an order with TLO Outdoors, the purchaser affirms that:

• they are legally eligible to purchase and possess the ordered item(s);

• all information and documentation provided is accurate and current;

• they assume full responsibility for compliance with all applicable laws.
