Skb Hybrid Takedown O/u Case Black

This is my THIRD case. It is hard to beat for the price, for any price. It is for transporting your shotgun to and from the range, not air travel. The soft outer case doesn't mar the interior of your vehicle and the exterior of the case doesn't scratch up like hard cases, but Im sure you can tear or curt the material if you are really rough with it. A huge feature is that you don't have to assemble the forearm to the barrels every time you put the gun in the case, saves wear and tear on the forearm latch. Two huge outer pockets holds all your choke tubes, I have 2 of each from cylinder to XF. Holds your booklets and grease, tools, etc.
CONS: doesn't hold large trap butt stocks too well, you can fit them on a slight angle. You can crush the material A LITTLE to fit better.
Looks like you can just squeeze 34" barrels in without chokes, but then that is a trap gun and the butt stock may be too big.
There are straps that keeps the top of the case from folding back flat (like a plastic case); if you have heavy stuff in the pockets the case can flip over when you remove the butt/receiver. The weight of the barrel flips the case back and your forearm may fly out or if you are not on a wide enough surface your case can fall over. It is best to cut the straps and have the case open flat. Overall, it is by far the best range case I have used or seen. Most of the guys in my league have them.
