Tannerite‚® Gender Reveal Boom Box is everything you need for a gender reveal with Color Blaze‚® colored powder and a 1 lb. Tannerite® brand binary rifle target, all wrapped up in one beautiful package. This product must be used as a rifle target, and requires a high-powered round to set off the powder explosion.

FAQ:

Q: Will the person who receives this know what color it is?
A: Yes - there is a small circular sticker on the side of the box that is either BLUE or PINK. This sticker is visible. The shipment should only be opened by a person who is designated to be aware of the gender.

Q: Can I shoot this in my yard or neighborhood?
A: We do not recommend shooting this in neighborhood settings as you must shoot it with a high-powered rifle and you should shoot at a minimum 50yard distance.

Q: What type of ammo round should be used?
A: To reliably initiate, Tannerite® brand targets need to be hit solidly with a transonic (ital) round. A transonic round is one going 2,000 feet per second or faster. All other things being equal, larger diameter bullets work better than smaller ones. Examples of common rounds recommended include:

• .223/5.56mm NATO (the common AR15/M16 or Ruger Mini-14 round)

• 5.45x39mm (the AK-74 round)

• 6mm Remington

• .243 Winchester

• .270

• 7.62x39mm (the AK-47 round)

• 7mm Remington Magnum

• .300 Savage

• .308/7.62mm NATO

• .30-06

• .300 Remington Magnum

• .338 Remington Magnum

• .50 Browning (the .50 caliber machine gun round)

Q: Does this come ready-to-shoot or do I have to do something?
A: All Tannerite targets are shipped with the required ingredients and components stored separately. Instructions should be followed precisely to mix the product on the day of the shoot.

Q: What is the process to prepare it for shooing?
A:

MIX IT!
Start by emptying the white granular contents of the target into the mixing container.
Next, open the packet containing the catalyst and pour it into the mixing container.
SHAKE IT!
Secure the lid and shake the container until you achieve a uniform color throughout the mixture.
Pour combined mixture back into the target container until it completely fills the target container & secure the lid.
SHOOT IT!
Place the Tannerite® Brand targets at least 100 yards away from the shooter and/or spectators.
Aim for center of target and SHOOT IT! with a high power, center fire rifle with bullet speed of minimum of 2000 fps.
