The KA-BAR 1245 Tanto is a hard-use fixed blade built for penetration, cutting power, and durability. Its 8-inch tanto blade is made from proven 1095 Cro-Van steel with a black epoxy powder-coated finish for added corrosion resistance and reduced glare. A hollow grind with 20-degree edge angles and partial serrations deliver versatile performance for slicing and sawing tasks. The full-tang design is paired with a shock-absorbing Kraton G handle for a secure, comfortable grip, while the included hard glass-filled nylon sheath is MOLLE-compatible for flexible carry. Knife is made in the USA; sheath is made in Taiwan.
