The KynSHOT RB5000L Recoil Buffer is a hydraulic buffer system engineered to help soft-cycling, under-gassed AR-15 platforms run smoother and more reliably when used with a Mil-Spec style carbine buffer tube (7" internal depth). Designed to require less force to cycle than KynSHOT’s standard AR-15 buffer system, it is an excellent match for low-velocity ammunition such as .300 Blackout. The RB5000L is a drop-in replacement and can be used with any buffer spring, though it typically performs best with reduced-power springs. It is intended for rifles that struggle to lock back on the last round with a standard buffer system or a heavier buffer.
