The IRAYUSA RICO Micro PICTAIL Shoe combines a standard night-vision dovetail with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail to deliver a versatile, accurate mounting solution for the RICO MICRO series. This hybrid interface retains full dovetail functionality for helmet use while adding rock-solid Picatinny capability for weapon platforms. It is compatible with common dovetail receptacles from Wilcox, KVC, and others, and pairs with the American Defense Manufacturing MQD mount to adjust footprint and eye relief. In standalone optic mode the PICTAIL/MQD setup provides over 4.5 inches of rear offset, and when reversed for clip-on mode it reduces rear offset to just 1.5 inches—requiring only four forward rail slots in front of a day optic. The result is a fast, lightweight solution ideal for compact rifles, short-barreled rifles, and pistols, with an anodized black finish suited for duty or field use.
