The Arisaka Side Scout Mount (SSM) is a compact, low-profile solution for mounting weapon lights to 1913 Picatinny rails. It replaces the stock Picatinny adapter and positions the light tight to the rail, helping it tuck beneath or beside common laser/illuminator units such as the ATPIAL series (ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ-15, LA-5/PEQ). The SSM also clears NGAL units and the QD lever on Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2 models. Built from durable aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, the SSM-P is compatible with SureFire Scout Lights, Modlite PLH/PLHv2/OKW, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount lights, Arisaka 300/600/18650 Series, and CD REIN. Proudly made in the USA and supplied with Torx hardware, this mount delivers secure, repeatable alignment while minimizing bulk.
