It resists shock, handles temperature extremes better than steel, and provides secure 1-inch medium-height rings in a durable matte black finish. Base screws are #6-48 x 1/4 inch and ring screws are #6-40 x 5/8 inch; both use a 7/64-inch Allen wrench.
