The KynSHOT RB5020SS Recoil Buffer is a hydraulic recoil buffer system engineered for competition-focused AR-9 / 9mm pistol-caliber carbine (PCC) builds to help deliver faster sight recovery and quicker follow-up shots. Designed in cooperation with Blitzkrieg Components, it features a longer overall buffer length and added mass to support short-stroke competition actions. Installed in a standard AR-15 carbine buffer tube, the 5.3" compressed length shortens bolt travel by approximately 1.3"; when used in an AR-10/A5 carbine buffer tube, bolt travel is shortened by approximately 0.5" (and can be further tuned with spacers). Its damping level is optimized for lighter, competition-style 9mm ammunition to promote best performance and long service life.
